Coconut Secret of Coconut Aminos When the coconut tree is tapped it produces a highly nutrient-rich “sap” that exudes from the coconut blossoms.  This sap is raw, very low glycemic, an abundant source of 17 amino acids, minerals, vitamins and has a nearly neutral pH.  A comparison between coconut tree sap and soy shows that the coconut sap contains 2-14 times the amino acid content of soy.

*The Coconut Aminos is heated to 165 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 seconds during bottling, and then tipping the bottles upside down for one minute to sterilize the air space between the glass and the cap. This is the only way that we can stabilize this product without adding any other ingredients, which would affect the delicate flavor profile of this product.

The 1 gallon size is allergen free.

Although this product is made in a dedicated facility that makes on Coconut Aminos, it is later bottled in a facility that also occasionally bottles peanut and walnut oils, as well as dressings that may contain gluten. The machines are thoroughly washed and sterilized before and after each production run, and adhere to the strictest allergen protocols. While we are virtually certain that there is no commingling, for liability reasons, we cannot 100% guarantee that there is no contamination, even though it is highly unlikely.
