Description

Used in stir fried food, soups and salads.
Hint: When sprouting Mung Beans follow sprouting directions, but place in a flat container or sprouter, cover with a clean cloth and place a heavy object such as a brick on top. This will produce stout, thick roots.
- No soaking necessary before cooking.

Prepare mung beans by rinsing in cool water. Place 1 cup mung beans in Medium Size pot with 3 cups of water. Bring water to a boil then reduce temperature to medium-low and cook until mung beans are tender about 25 minutes. Keep beans covered while cooking if water level reduces add water. Makes 3-1/2 cups cooked mung beans.
