Directions

  1. For traditional sushi rice, we recommend rinsing the rice until the water runs clear.
  2. In a medium saucepan, soak the rinsed rice in water for 30 minutes prior to cooking. After soaking the rinsed rice for 30 minutes, discard the water.
  3. Bring the soaked rice and new water to a boil.
  4. Cover with a tight-fitting life, reduce heat to a low simmer, and cook for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let steam for 10 minutes
